Breaking -- al-Sadr Believed To Have Fled To Iran

Fox News is reporting that the United States military believes that radical Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr has at least temporarily fled to Iran.  If true, the new strategy to secure Baghdad using a troop surge and more aggressive American-Iraqi joint operations may have paid the first dividend.  If al-Sadr doesn't feel safe anymore, the prospect of routing his militia and other insurgents may be looking up.  When the heat turns up, the cowards run.  This will only add more fuel to the fire being steadily turned up on the Iranian leadership for their suspected and likely support of Shiite trouble-makers in Iraq.
