Democratic Uproar Over "The Path To 9-11"

The Senate Democratic leadership has sent Disney a letter that appears to contain veiled and implicit threats against Disney should the company air its forty million dollar "The Path To 9-11" miniseries this weekend. Both Congressional Democrats and former Clinton Administration officials, including the former president himself, are in an absolute panic about the mini-series. Americablog has the letter and the story.
Keep in mind that, despite the great concern expressed by conservatives over what they believed to be a factually inaccurate depiction of Ronald Reagan in the 2003 CBS miniseries "The Reagans," the Republican Party did not make any threats about using the power it actually possessed to punish CBS. In contrast, the Democrats apparently have no qualms about using the federal government to try and control the plot content of television broadcasts over the public airwaves if such content is disagreeable to the Party.
